    The Canton Group, LLC. is founded by partners Ethan Kazi, Aaron Kazi, Mark Alcasabas, and Kirk Grothe.

  • Chateau Builders logo graphic - The Canton Groups first client

    Winning the first website design and development contract with a highly respected Maryland Homebuilder (Chateau Builders), The Canton Group kicks off web design and development services.

  • Baltimore Business Journal Top Web Design Company award graphic

    The Canton Group awarded Top Web Design Company Award by the Baltimore Business Journal (an award that would be received for well over a decade).

  • The State of Maryland logo graphic

    After working in the private sector and in support of county government agencies, The Canton Group lands first Maryland State Government contract with the Maryland Department of General Services.

    The Canton Group expands service offerings to include maintenance, operations, and support to mission critical software for international clients.

  • National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration seal graphic

    First large U.S. Federal Government contract for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). This project, which focused on Datacenter Design and IT Management, was also our first multi-million-dollar contract.

    Marking the start of our support for the state educational industry, The Canton Group began work for the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE). Our partnership with MSDE is still ongoing with three active prime contracts (as of 2023).

    The Canton Group awarded Top Software Development Award by the Baltimore Business Journal.

  • Maryland State Board of Elections logo seal graphic

    The Canton Group begins work in support of state election management systems, starting with the Maryland State Board of Elections (SBE).

    The Canton Group awarded Top 100 Best Run Company Award.

  • USDA and USAid OIG logo graphics

    Further expansion of Drupal capabilities with addition of United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) contracts.

  • The Maryland State Ethics Commission automated bot graphic

    Intelligent Automation and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) capabilities added to The Canton Group. Successful delivery of Maryland Governments first RPA project with Maryland State Ethics Commission.

  • AWS Data Lake icon graphic

    The Canton Group strengthens partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and healthcare competencies with creation and deployment of Data Lake Solution for the Baltimore City Health Department (BCHD).

    The Canton Group completes technology upgrades enabling “work from anywhere” work policy.

    Expansion of elections practice with contract awards across the country, including Los Angeles County and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
