The Canton Group completed a billing audit for the Maryland Stadium Authority’s (MSA) telecommunications account, providing financial detail that indicated a substantial billing error. The audit quickly led to a settlement that eliminated the billing problem and refunded a significant balance to MSA. The Canton Group’s highly efficient process and close attention to detail passed along substantial savings to MSA. The Maryland Stadium Authority has retained The Canton Group to complete a quarterly review of all telecommunication invoices.
Former Motor Vehicle Administration CIO and current Director of Government Solutions for The Canton Group, Thomas Gardner, knows first hand that State Government needs a dedicated team that can address issues quickly and cost effectively, especially when every agency is facing the potential for budget cuts. Chief Financial Officer of MSA, David Raith, agrees, saying, "The Canton Group helped The Maryland Stadium Authority (MSA) with an issue at M&T Bank Stadium that resulted in a refund/credit totaling $84,000 after they conducted an audit of our phone bills. MSA looks forward to continuing our partnership with The Canton Group team."
